This Documentary presents the historical evidence to explain the publication of over 100 compromised English revisionsof the Bible. These continual but unsuccessfulattempts to replace the King James Version KJV Bible will never prevail because GOD Himself will always preserve and protect His Holy Scripture from all heresy, blasphemy and confusion.

A SINNER'S PRAYER

PRAYER 13, Part 4: of 11
THE WINGS OF PRAYER.
And then, Lord, we have another mercy to ask which shall be the burden of our prayer. It is that Thou wouldest [You would] help us to live such lives as pardoned men should live. We have but a little time to tarry [remain] here, for our life is but [just] a vapor; soon it vanishes away; but we are most anxious [sincerely eager] that we may spend the time of our sojourning here in holy fear, that grace may be upon us from the commencement [beginning] of our Christian life even to the earthly close of it. . [In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ] Amen. (Attachment: PRAYER 13.doc)
Humble hearts seek grace, and therefore they get it. Humble hearts yield to the sweet influences of grace, and so it is bestowed on them more and more largely. Humble hearts lie in the valleys where streams of grace are flowing, and hence they drink of them. Humble hearts are grateful for grace and give the Lord the glory of it, and hence it is consistent with His honor to give it to them.
Come, dear reader, take a lowly place. Be little in thine own esteem [estimation], that the Lord may make much of thee. Perhaps the sigh breaks out,
-I fear I am not humble.-
It may be that this is the language of true humility. Some are proud of being humble, and this is one of the very worst sorts of pride. We are needy, helpless, undeserving, hell-deserving creatures, and if we are not humble, we ought to be.
Let us humble ourselves because of our sins against humility, and then the Lord will give us to taste of His favor.
It is grace which makes us humble,
and grace which finds in this humility an opportunity for pouring in more grace. Let us go down [with humility] that we may rise. Let us be poor in spirit that God may make us rich. Let us be humble that we may not need to be humbled, but may be exalted by the grace of God.
Thank you, Lord, that You give grace unto the humble. Make us sincerely humble so that we won’t need humbling, and may we be exalted [lifted] by Your grace. Let our hearts be grateful for Your grace and may we always give You the glory. I pray this in Your name Lord Jesus, Amen.
Please pray that we will faithfully, whole-heartedly, rightly proclaim, present and share the good news that Jesus suffered and died on the cross to provide eternal salvation to all that would trust in Him.
Pray that all redeemed, blood-bought children of God faithfully minister the Gospel to everyone everywhere.

ANECDOTE 235: Hearers, but Not Doers.
Beware of being like John Bunyan’s trees that were green outside, but inwardly rotten, and only fit to be tinder for the devil’s tinder-box. Oh “beware of saying as some of you do, “I go, sir,” while you go not [when you actually don’t go]. I sometimes see sick people who quite alarm and distress me. I say to them,
“My dear friend, you are dying; have you a hope?”
There is no answer.
“Do you know your lost state?” “Yes, sir.”
“Christ died for sinners.” ”Yes, sir.”
“Faith gives us of his grace.” “Yes, sir.”
They say, “Yes, sir ; yes, sir ; yes, sir; yes, sir; yes, sir.”
I sometimes wish, before God, they would contradict me, for if they would but have honesty enough to say,
“I do not believe a word of it,”
I should know how to deal with them.
Stubborn [rigid oak trees] are levelled [knocked down] by the gale, [storm] but those who bend like the willow before every wind, what wind shall break them?
Oh, dear brethren, beware of being gospel-hardened;
[What is “gospel-hardened”? It’s the insensitivity and resistance to accept and live by the simple gospel of Jesus Christ when a long and close familiarity with it,
has not resulted in the Godly sorrow that leads to personal repentance and trust in the Lord Jesus
but a self-righteous hardness against it and avoidance of it as being needed by them personally.
Being gospel-hardened is like being inoculated with a counterfeit gospel that brings false assurances of salvation and may be manifested in:
• speaking “Christian-ese” (using church language without being born from above)
• engaging in “Christian” good works, ( “Ministry”) to earn salvation or for the praise given us by others
• confessing good intentions and showing a favorable attitude toward holy living but without the essential strength from God to carry it out
• doing our best (but believing that sin is inevitable) instead of accepting God’s best.
[God’s best for us is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only begotten and beloved son of God who was sent to die on the cross as the sacrifice for all sin, past, present and future. He thereby delivered us from the penalty of sin, He rose again from the dead to set us free from the practice of sin (He defeated the works of the devil) and will one day deliver us from the presence of sin when we will leave earth and join Him in Heaven for all eternity]
• any or all of the above.
Holy Spirit, help me to receive Jesus Christ as my savior and Lord. Forgive me of my sin and lead me in the path of righteousness in Jesus name, Amen.

Faith’s Checkbook March 23 A SURE GUIDE
-I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not —Isaiah 42:16
—Y guiare los ciegos por camino que no sabian —Isaias 42:16
Think of the infinitely glorious Jehovah acting as a Guide to the blind! What boundless condescension does this imply! A blind man cannot find a way which he does not know. Even when he knows the road, it is hard for him to traverse it; but a road which he has not known is quite out of the question for his unguided feet. Now, we are by nature blind as to the way of salvation, and yet the Lord leads us into it, and brings us to Himself, and then opens our eyes. As to the future, we are all of us blind, and cannot see an hour before us; but the Lord Jesus will lead us even to our journey’s end. Blessed be His name!
We cannot guess in which way deliverance can possibly come to us, but the Lord knows, and He will lead us till we shall have escaped every danger. Happy are those who place their hand in that of the great Guide, and leave their way and themselves entirely with Him. He will bring them all the way; and when He has brought them home to glory and has opened their eyes to see the way by which He has led them,
what a song of gratitude will they sing unto their great Benefactor! Lord, lead thy poor blind child this day, for I know not my way!
Thank you, Lord, that You will guide the blind on a unknown road. Let our hearts be grateful for Your unspeakable condescension [that reaches from your divine sovereignty down to us, natural born sinners lost by nature and by our sinful behavior.] that meets us in our need with grace to save and sustain us [as we become like little children and trust in You]. Please mail names or e-mail addresses of anyone who would like to receive this message. Your prayers, comments and prayer requests are always welcome. Please pray that we will faithfully and whole-heartedly share God s Word so that the lost will believe in Jesus Christ to their eternal salvation and that the redeemed [those who are saved] will be a blessing to many. Your participation and partnership is a blessing to us. Thank You. The John Mark Publishing Company. P.O. MORNING March 23
"His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. " —Luke 22:44
¾Fué su sudor como grandes gotas de sangre que caían hasta la tierra. —Lucas 22:44
THE mental pressure arising from our Lord's struggle with temptation so forced his frame to an unnatural excitement, that his pores sent forth great drops of blood which fell down to the ground. This proves how tremendous must have been the weight of sin when it was able to crush the Savior so that he distilled great drops of blood! This demonstrates the mighty power of his love. It is a very pretty observation of old Isaac Ambrose that the gum which exudes from the tree without cutting is always the best. This precious camphire [camphor] tree yielded most sweet spices when it was wounded under the knotty whips, and when it was pierced by the nails on the cross. But see, it gives forth its best spice when there is no whip, no nail, no wound. This sets forth the voluntariness of Christ's sufferings, since without a lance the blood flowed freely. No need to put on the leech [to suck the blood], or apply the knife; it flows spontaneously. No need for the rulers to cry "Spring up, 0 well"; of itself it flows in crimson torrents. If men suffer great pain of mind apparently the blood rushes to the heart. The cheeks are pale; a fainting fit comes on. The blood has gone inward as if to nourish the inner man while passing through its trial. But see our Savior in His agony: he is so utterly oblivious of self that instead of his agony driving his blood to the heart to nourish himself, it drives it outward to bedew [water] the earth. The agony of Christ, inasmuch as it pours him out upon the ground, pictures the fullness of the offering which he made for men.
Do we not perceive how intense must have been the wrestling through which he passed, and will we not hear its voice to us? "Ye have not yet resisted unto
blood, striving against sin." Behold the great Apostle and High Priest of our profession, and sweat even to blood rather than yield to the great tempter of your souls.
EVENING March 23
"I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones
would immediately cry out. " —Luke 19:40
¾Os digo que si éstos callaren, las piedras clamarán. —Lucas 19:40
BUT could the stones cry [shout] out? Assuredly they could if He who opens the mouth of the dumb [deaf] should bid them lift up their voice. Certainly if they were to speak, they would have much to testify in praise of Him who created them by the word of His power [speaking them into existence]; they could extol the wisdom and power of their Maker who called them into being. Shall not we speak well of Him who made us anew [gave us new life] and out of stones raised up children unto Abraham? The old rocks could tell of chaos and order, and the handiwork of God in successive stages of creation's drama; and cannot we talk of God's decrees, of God's great work in ancient times, and all that He did for His church in the days of old? If the stones were to speak, they could tell of their breaker, how he took them from the quarry, and made them fit for the temple, and cannot we tell of our glorious Breaker [the Lord Jesus], who broke our hearts with the hammer of His word, that He might build us into His temple? If the stones should cry out they would magnify their builder, who polished them and fashioned them after the similitude [likeness] of a palace; and shall not we talk of our Architect and Builder, who has put us in our place in the temple of the living God? If the stones could cry out, they might have a long, long story to tell by way of memorial, for many a time hath a great stone been rolled as a memorial before the Lord; and we too can testify of Ebenezers, stones of help, pillars of remembrance. The broken stones of the law cry out against us, but Chris t Himself, who has rolled away the stone from the door of the sepulchre, [burial vault] speaks for us. Stones might well cry out, but we will not let them: we will hush their noise with ours. We will break forth into sacred song, and bless the majesty of the Most High, all our days glorifying Him who is called by Jacob [who became Israel] the Shepherd and Stone of Israel.
A Sinner’s Prayer:
A person may come to Jesus by believing in Him and (sincerely) praying like this:
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I’m lost and hopeless without You. I will never be able to save myself by my own merits. Without you and your death on the cross I would deserve and spend forever in Hell.
I know that me doing my best or being good (in my own opinion) and justifying my own behavior as "good" or "OK" will never save me.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I come to You right now. Lord Jesus. Please save me. I believe You died on the cross in my place to pay for my sin debt and put to death my sin nature. I know You always keep your word. Please save me. You say and it’s written in the Bible that you won’t reject anyone who comes to You. I'm coming to You now. Thank You for saving me.
I give myself (all of myself) to You, Lord Jesus. I declare that You are my Savior and Lord. I’m sorry for and I turn away from every sin (every bad thought, every bad word I have spoken and every bad thing I have ever done) and look to You free me from the penalty of sin, to keep me free from the power of sin and empower me overcome any temptation from sin’s presence. Thank you for forgiving all of my sins by dying on the cross to pay the punishment that I deserve. (I was a sinner by nature and by behavior). But now I'm washed clean by Your blood that was shed [poured out] for me at Calvary [at the cross].
Thank you Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me now and will always love me and will never reject or turn your back on me. I know You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father other than by You.
Thank you Father that You have made a way for me to see myself as ungodly. But, because You are good You have made a way and given me the desire to come to You, to turn away from my sin and to trust in the Lord Jesus. You have forgiven me because He took my place and You have provided for me to be born again [born from above, born of the Holy Spirit].
You prompted this desire and faith to believe in Your only begotten Son who, gave up His life and died on the cross to pay my sin debt, not mine alone, but the sins of the whole world.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave and in Christ Jesus there is no condemnation. After You raised Him from the dead You gave Him a Glorified, [everlasting] physical body and after he was seen by many witnesses on earth You took Him up to reign with You in heaven.
I pray this in the name, of Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ with a grateful heart. Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and for sending the Comforter, The Spirit of Truth, for my guidance and solemn instruction into all truth., Amen.”
Thank You Holy Spirit of Truth, The Comforter, The Paraclete [true friend who is by your side and always has your back] for the new life in Jesus and the victory that comes when I recon myself dead indeed unto sin and alive unto God through Christ Jesus our Lord trusting You, Holy Spirit for Your empowerment to see this promise fulfilled. Romans 6:11
Thank you that you, Holy Spirit, always exalt [lift up] the Lord Jesus. John 16:8-11
With all my heart, I thank you Lord Jesus for saving me.
I ask now that You live Your life through me in Your name, Lord Jesus I pray, Amen.
Please allow us to celebrate with you and with the angels in heaven at the news of your new birth. Please write to:

Mission and Invitation
The aim of this work is to save souls, strengthen and encourage believers in the Word, proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ as we serve those in need. We believe the Bible is God’s revealed Word and that through His Word He guides us as individuals and as a local body of believers. We are resolved, God helping us, to study, meditate and pray to rightly divide God’s revealed Word holding it as the final authority in all things.
The purpose of The John Mark Publishing Company is to make known the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ to every creature. We aim to love the brethren, win souls, and build-up of the Body of Christ, [The Universal Church of true believers]. Paul’s gratitude, contentment and blessing recorded in the book of Philippians quotes the principle and practices regarding all contributions to the Publishing Company. We desire fruit that may abound to your account through your generosity: (vis.)
"For even in [the] Thessaloni'ca [jail] ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. Philippians 4:17. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, Exodus. 29.18 a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God. …But I know that my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:17-19. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Salute [Greet] every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you All the saints salute [Greet] you, chiefly they that are of *Caesar’s household. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Philippians 4:23 Amen”
* Not only were new converts won to the truth in Caesar's household, but after their conversion they remained in that household. They did not feel at liberty to abandon their post of duty because their surroundings were no longer congenial. [They were now out of their comfort zone but obliged to steadfastly remain and serve there] The truth had found them there, and there they remained, by their changed life and character testifying to the transforming power of their new found faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers.
Let us make daily use of our riches, and ever repair [return] to Him as to our own Lord in covenant, taking from Him the supply of all we need with as much boldness as men take money from their own purse [wallet].

Note: This Sermon was referenced in the Men’s Bible Study on Wednesday, August 14th 2024 at South Shores Church and is featured here as an unabridged Audio recording of Sermon # 1245 that was preached originally by Charles Spurgeon in 1875 from his home church, The Metropolitan Tabernacle, London, U.K.

Can You trust this website?
Is it of God?
Is it trustworthy?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesseth [confesses, says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come out of God, is of God: and every spirit [voice] that confesseth not [doesn't confess] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hence, I confess [declare and affirm] "Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh."
___________________________________________________________________
He has always existed from eternity past [FOREVER] as the WORD of God. John 1:1-2
And He was born of a virgin 2,024 years ago in Bethlehem, the WORD made flesh,
is alive today, and is coming soon for His *bride, the Church
[*All redeemed believers].
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Let me invite you to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess [declare] Him as such before men [publicly]. He will therefore be able to acknowledge and confess you before His Father in Heaven. He is The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Following your public confession, You also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism by immersion.
Jesus came from Galilee t o Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, what Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him:
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And then, Jesus said to him:
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer’s new birth.
It bears witness with John the Baptist who preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but it is an act of obedience to fulfil all righteousness.
Romans 6:3-5:
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

Following the Lord Jesus Christ in His purpose for us is our aim. We trust Him for our salvation, guidance, strength and our eternal destiny. We desire to and will, with His help, follow Him in soul winning by use or any instrumentality He may choose. We invite and encourage non-believers to turn away from sin, look to Him and be saved.
We trust that all believers (old and new) will benefit in knowing that He will sustain, guide and build us up. We are being conformed to the image of Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The joy of every believer, is full when we Love and worship Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and that we do so in Spirit and in truth. He blesses us as we study, meditate and act upon His Word. We will not forsake the gathering together to worship, hear God’s Word, and sing Psalms, sacred hymns and spiritual songs in person.
To this end, Heavenly Father, we pray You will bless all who visit DailySpurgeon.com . We ask that You bring nonbelievers to faith in Christ Jesus and that You will inspire fervent devotion, and active discipleship in each believer to Your glory. We ask this in Jesus name and for His sake, Amen.
The website is not intended to replace the gathering with other believers to worship, and to hear face-to-face Gospel preaching, enjoy fellowship, and join together in prayer, and the study of God’s Word in the presence of the Lord Jesus and with fellowship of other believers.
Rather, it is a resource that may be useful in developing a more active personal discipleship and a more fervent personal devotion to the Lord.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [analyzing and sharing] the word of truth.”
We thank thee Lord for providing dailyspurgeon.com to expand the e-mail ministry that was begun with Jon Edward Riley 1971-2021 and his Dad, John Michael.
We honor Jon’s memory here, giving honor to those whom honor is due; those who honor the Lord Jesus. Romans 13:7
Jon loved to tell his testimony: “I’m a blood bought, born-again child of God.”
… his testimony as a forgiven, redeemed sinner, now and forevermore a child of God and forever accepted in the Beloved Son of God, and in the Glory of His presence now, and forever.
Amen.

…Jon always said “Later”; [see-ya-later] instead of “good bye”. It was his standard greeting to bid farewell … He would never say “good-bye”. Now, as we remember the sound of him saying “Later”, it rings very true as to its new and deeper meaning and it brings a joyfulness and comfort to the hearts of those he loved so well; those who love him still and will forever more.

The scribes of Christ's day were accomplished men, but a strange fog clouded their reaction to Him. Though amazed at Him and His teaching, they refused to listen. Here is why, and how the same mental block shuts off many from God today.

Jesus Christ [Messiah- Anointed King] has always existed, from eternity past [FOREVER] as the WORD of God.
You’re invited to receive the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah] as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess your trust in Him so He will then be able to acknowledge you before His Father, The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Jesus answered him and said, “Suffer it to be so [to let this happen]: for thus it becometh [is in accord with] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him.
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him,
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
The act of Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer’s death to self, burial, and resurrection to walk in newness of life.
It bears witness to the preaching of John the Baptist who preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but as John preached it is is to be followed to fulfil all righteousness
This website is not intended, were it possible, to take the place of the personal and physical gathering of believers fellowship or congregational worship in local bodies of believers.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately comprehending and sharing] the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
Following the Lord Jesus Christ in His purpose for us is our desire. We trust Him for our salvation, guidance, strength and our eternal destiny. We desire to and will, with His help, follow Him in soul winning by use of DailySpurgeon or any instrumentality He may bestow. We invite and encourage non-believers to turn away from sin, look to Him and be saved.
We trust that believers (old and new) will benefit in knowing that He will sustain, guide and build us up as we are being conformed to the image of Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.
DailySpurgeon.com website consists of devotional writings, prayers, sacred music and sermons by Charles Haddon Spurgeon and the current Pastor ofThe Metropolitan Tabernacle Peter Masters, who rightly proclaim God’s Word. Is dailyspurgeon.com trustworthy?
Is it true? Is it of God?
We should apply the following Scripture to everything we hear/read to discern whether what we are hearing or reading is of God and therefore whether or not it should be believed.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [word] you hear but be testing the spirits [words] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know if it is the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore beloved, we must test every voice [written or spoken] to discern whether it is from God or not. By applying these scripture verses we can determine with certainty if the scriptural standard that protects believers from believing false prophets has been met. We can thereby identify false witnesses and determine not to believe or follow them. The voice [spirit] being tested should not be believed unless it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
Two Greek manuscripts that were cobbled together by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland do not make this confession nor do they follow the Textus Receptus rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, which agree overwhelmingly with each other known as as the Majority Text. The 5,321 Majority Text is the source from which the trusted Textus Receptus was rendered.
Instead, these two purveyors of Greek texts used their own Greek translations that they invented by hand picking only 55 of the 5,321extant Greek manuscripts. When these 55 Manuscripts did not contain the text being translated, they inserted their own invented and unfounded Greek text.
Their invented Greek translation presented variant readings different than the Textus Receptus [Received Text] in many places. One example from 1 John, Chapter 4 where all English translations other than the King James version overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in substantially all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] and therefore have failed to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (correctly Translated from the Textus Receptus [Received Text (TR)] in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from an overwhelming agreement found among the Majority Text of 5,321 primary Greek manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland ignore the verb “is”, from their invented Greek text and place “has come” instead.
This error may be legally described as res ipsa loquitur a latin phrase that means “the thing speaks for itself”.
Therefore, the Greek inventions generated by these two sources are not actually translations, even though they are introduced as translations, but actually represent their own Greek language inventions unsupported by the reliability of the Majority Texts and the Textus Receptus.
How do we know?
We know because both non-believers and false prophets assert that Jesus Christ
“has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by historians to be the most well documented fact in all of human history.
That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference in meaning between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” is woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”.
Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is generally held. It is not, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this falls short of presenting a logical rubric to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, by which spiritual understanding can be discerned. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent if “has come” is the favored reading.
Actually, “has come” is such a wide-spread belief held to be historically true by all, yet, it does not provide a sound standard to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any spirit] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed as true or followed. Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But, his is an insufficient standard. The standard must be whether the confession that Jesus is here alone, gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be efficacious for true spiritual discernment.
Further, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.
Compare Scripture with Scripture: 1 John 4:1-3 with Ephesians 5:30-32
1 John 4:1-3 Authorized (King James) Version
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Ephesians 5:30-32
Authorized (King James) Version
30 for we are members of his [Jesus Christ’s] body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
[So, we are flesh and bone members of His body, We are] one flesh with Him, The Body of Christ is (In the flesh); and is the incarnate Body of believers.
He was born of a virgin 2025 years ago and He’s alive today.
He’s coming again soon, for His bride; the Church [Blood-bought, Born-again members of His body].
When a believer considers the fact that they are members of the body of Christ [The Church] , they will see and acknowledge that…
“Jesus Christ is here, from God, in the flesh,” because We are the Body of Christ; The Church, in the flesh!
Amen.

THE BEST BIBLE TRANSLATION:
Why KING JAMES is Best by Steven Houck
Even though [it is said that the] King James Version has its weaknesses, it is an excellent translation and by far the best version available today. We must not be taken in by the modern versions and their claims. Our 400 years old Bible is to be preferred above all others because it is better than them all.
1) It was translated by men who are unsurpassed in their knowledge of Biblical studies.
2) The translators were pious men of God who believed in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.
3) It is the mature fruit of generations of English translations as well as the careful work of its translators.
4) The King James Version is based upon the Received Text rather than the critical Greek text of modern versions. [vis. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.]
5) It is a word-for-word translation which faithfully and accurately reflects the originals [of the Majority Texts, MT].
6) The language is one of reverence and respect which gives honor [and greater glory] to the majesty of its Author.
7) Of all the English versions of today, it alone is the Bible of the Reformation.
8) Our spiritual forefathers thought so highly of it that they were willing to suffer and even die for it.
9) It is the version which has been recognized for generations and generations as the Bible God has given to His English-speaking Church.
The 10th reason why it is best is added here by DailySpurgeon.com
10) The 1611 KJV is the work of 54 translators selected and organized into seven companies. (2), from Westminster (2), from Cambridge, (2), from Oxford and (1) from London. The work was done openly allowing each company to receive inquiries or comments during the course of the work. When an issue of disagreement arose, it was addressed in Prayer and discussion was continued until the difference was resolved unanimously and without objection.

Commitment to the Word of God
Long before the Conservative Resurgence, Dr. R.G. Lee was the Southern Baptist champion of biblical infallibility and inerrancy. In his sermon, “The Word of God – Not Broken and Not Bound,” first published in 1930, Dr. Lee proclaimed, “All who wrote are immortalized by their writing of this great Book [The Holy Bible],
… “supernatural in origin, divine in authorship, human in penmanship, infallible in authority, infinite in scope, universal in interest, personal in application, regenerative in power, inspired [God breathed] in totality.”
Dr Robert G. Lee preached a sermon (click here) Payday Someday over 1,000 times and was the Senior Pastor of one of the first Megachurches, Bellevue Baptist Church, Memphis, Tennessee,

This Documentary presents the historical evidence to explain the publication of over 100 compromised English revisionsof the Bible.

Oh, dear brethren, beware of being gospel-hardened;

We purpose to publish the Good News of Jesus Christ and to proclaim (preach) HIM everywhere. We purpose also to serve everyone, especially those in the household of faith..
We believe the Bible is God’s everlasting, inspired (God breathed) Word. By His Word He guides us individually and corporately through His local Church.
God’s Word [The Bible] is the driving essence of all our work. To this end we annotate and reprint, unabridged, the sermons and publications from The Holy Bible that were preached and taught through the inspired servant Charles Haddad Spurgeon.
The published Headings and Titles selected for inclusion in Daily Spurgeon are:
Prayers
Anecdotes
Faith’s Checkbook
Morning & Evening
This body of inspired work was created by Spurgeon 1834-1892 and has been widely published and preached to this present time. He was Pastor and founder of the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England (Still flourishing TODAY) Still preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. [Click this blue link to hear live, contemporary and traditional preaching brought by the Internet from broadcasts from Dr. Peter Masters, the current Metropolitan Tabernacle minister for over 30 years].
Prayer: Dear Lord, May this Gospel ministry be effective and thrive in winning souls, and may we also be loving and compassionate to encourage and comfort all who are needy, especially to those who are in the household of faith, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Disclaimer: These mailing are not intended to attract praise for or exalt the Lord’s servant, and founding minister of the Metropolitan Tabernacle Charles H. Spurgeon. Precaution: These devotional messages and prayers are not offered or intended to substitute for walking in the bright sunlight of continual companionship [communion, fellowship] in love with the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah]. Neither should they be substituted for reading, meditating on, praying and fasting over God's Word; (KJV, Authorized Version is recommended) that reveals His unspeakable Love to all the world. John 3:16
Printed Prayer: Should not be read or offered as a substitute for personal, fervent, effectual, heart-felt, prayer. It is intended rather, to touch and warm the hearts of those who presently seek a season of fervent, authentic two-way, heart-to-heart fellowship and prayer with the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit.
Preaching Preparation: If you are studying or preparing a message from a specific, Biblical text, Please inform us so that we may send you a Sermon from Mr. Spurgeon on the message, precept and application most closely aligned.

“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately proclaiming] the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Behold, therefore: Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh. 1ohn 4:1-3

in Pilgrim’s Progress. (Tthe World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.

"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.
