This Documentary presents comprehensive historical facts that led to the unending plethora of over 100 published versionsof the English Bible. These continual but unsuccessfulattempts to replace the King James Version KJV Bible will not succeed because GOD Himselfpreserves and protects His Holy Scriptures from all heresy, blasphemy, compromise and confusion.
THE BEST ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE:
GOD’S WORD (Immutable, Unchanged and Unchangeable, God breathed, Self-Authenticating. Providentially Preserved and Protected. Forever Settled in Heaven, Psalm 119:89) The Authorized King James Bible
Which Bible Is The Best? David Hocking (57 min)
Verdict (8 min.) The problem is not with translating the Bible into the English language. The problem occurs and continues to exist due to additional erroneous and sometimes heretical Greek texts that are created by men who believe themselves competent, authorized and meet [perfectly matched] scribes of The LORD to influence and therefore change the Word of God.
To believe God’s Word is unsettled is folly because
For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Psalms 119:89
[The Textus Receptus (Received Text) was rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts known as the Majority Text MT. These manuscripts agree overwhelmingly [99%] with one
another, are inerrant and do not contain any of the heretical biases found in the Greek Text created by Westcott & Hort, Nestle & Aland or the Codices Vaticanus and Sinaiticus.
The Foundational support of these Greek Texts rest upon only 45 hand-picked manuscripts from the extant Majority Text instead of all 5,321.

PRAYER 9, Part 1 of 3
GLORIOUS LIBERTY.
OUR Father, we bless Thy name that we can say from the bottom of our hearts,
“Abba, Father.” [Daddy, Dadda Pappa]
It is the chief joy of our lives that we have become the children of God by faith which is in Christ Jesus, and we can in the deep calm of our spirit say,
“Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed [holy] be Thy name; Thy [Your] kingdom come; Thy [Your] will be done in earth as in heaven.”
Lord, we thank Thee for the liberty which comes to our emancipated [liberated] spirit through the adoption which Thou hast [have] made us to enjoy. When we were in servitude, the chains were heavy, for we could not keep Thy law; there was an inward spirit of rebellion; when the commandment came it irritated our corrupt nature and sin revived, and we died.
Even when we had some strivings after better things, yet the power that was in us lusted into evil, and the spirit of the Hagarene [Demoniac] was upon us; we wanted to fly from the Father’s house; we were wild men, men of the wilderness, and we loved not living in the Father’s house.
O God, we thank Thee that we have not been cast out [rejected] .
Indeed, if Thou hadst [had] then cast out the child of the bondwoman Thou hadst [would have] cast us out, but now through sovereign grace all is altered with us. Blessed by Thy name. It is a work of divine power and love over human nature, for now we are the children of the promise, certainly not born according to the strength of the human will, or of blood, or of birth, but born by the Holy Ghost through the power of the Word, begotten again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, children of the Great Father who is in heaven, having His life within us.
Now, like Isaac, we are heirs according to promise and heirs of the promise, and we dwell at home in the Father’s house, and our soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and our mouth shall praise Thee as with joyful lips. O God, we would not change places with angels, much less with kings of the earth. To be indeed Thy sons and daughters — the thought of it doth [does] bring to our soul a present heaven, and the fruition [fulfillment] of it shall be our heaven, to dwell forever in the house of the Lord, and go no more out, but to be His sons and His heirs forever and ever. .
[In the name of the Lord Jesus] Amen.

ANECDOTE 199: Faith Honored
A slaveholding American, on one occasion, buying a slave, said to the person from whom he was purchasing him, “Tell me honestly what are his faults?” Said the seller: “He has no faults, that I am aware of, but one: that one fault is, he will pray.” “Ah!” said the purchaser, “I don t like that; but I know something that will cure him of it pretty soon.”
So, the next night, “Cuffey” was surprised by his master in the plantation while in earnest prayer, praying for his new master, and his master’s wife and family. The man stood and listened, but said nothing at the time; but the next morning he called Cuffey, and said, “I do not want to quarrel with you, my man, but I’ll have no praying on my premises: so you just drop it.
“Massa, ”said he, “me canna [I can’t] leave off praying ; me [I] must pray.”
“I’ll teach you to pray, if you are going to keep on at it.” “Massa, me must keep on.”
“Well, then, I’ll give you five-and-twenty lashes a day till you leave off.” “Massa, if you give me fifty, I must pray.”
”If that’s the way you are saucy [sassy] to your master, you shall have it directly.” So, tying him up, he gave him five-and twenty lashes, and asked him if he would pray again. “Yes, massa, me must pray always ; me canna leave off.”
The master looked astonished; he could not understand how a poor saint could keep on praying, when it seemed to do no good, but only brought persecution upon him. He told his wife of it. His wife said : “Why can’t you let the poor man pray? He does his work very well; you and I do not care about praying, but there’s no harm in letting him pray, if he gets on with his work.”
”But I don’t like it,” said the master, “he almost frightened me to death. You should see how he looked at me.” “Was he angry?” “No, I should not have minded that; but after I had beaten him, he looked at me with tears in his eyes, as if he pitied me more than himself.”
That night the master could not sleep; he tossed to and fro on his bed; his sins were brought to his remembrance; he remembered he had persecuted a saint of God. Rising in his bed, he said,
“Wife, will you pray for me?” “I never prayed in my life,” said she, “I cannot pray for you.” “I am lost,” he said, “if somebody does not pray for me;
I cannot pray for myself.” “I don’t know anyone on the estate that knows how to pray, except Cuffey,” said his wife. The bell was rung, and Cuffey was brought in. Taking hold of his black servant’s hand, the master said,
“Cuffey, can you pray for your master?”
“Massa,” said he, “me been praying for you eber [ever] since you flogged me, and me mean to pray always for you.” Down went Cuffey on his knees, and poured out his soul in tears, and both husband and wife were converted.
[Cuffey] could not have done this without faith. Without faith he would have gone away directly, and said, “Massa, me leave off praying; me no like de white man’s whip.” But because he persevered through his faith, the Lord honored him, and gave him his master’s soul for his hire.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK Feb. 16 YOU DEAL WITH GOD C.H. Spurgeon 1834 - 1892
-I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man- Hosea 11:9
-No ejecutaré el furor de mi ira, no volveré para destruir a Ephraim: porque Dios soy, y no hombre - Oseas 11:9
The Lord thus [here] makes known His sparing mercies. It may be that the reader is now under heavy displeasure, and everything threatens his speedy doom. Let the text hold him up from despair.
The Lord now invites you to consider your ways, and confess your sins. If He [God] had been man, He would long ago have cut you off [rejected you]. If He were now to act after the manner of men, it would be a word and a blow and then there would be an end of you: but it is not so, for…
“as high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are his ways above your ways.”
You rightly judge that He is angry, but He keepeth [keeps] not His anger forever:
if you turn from sin to Jesus, God will turn from wrath.
Because God is God, and not man, there is still forgiveness for you, even though you may be steeped [immersed] up to your throat in iniquity [sin]. You have a God to deal with, and not a hard man, nor even a merely just man. No human being could have patience with you: you would have wearied [worn out] an angel, as you have wearied [worn out] your sorrowing [earthly] father;
but God is longsuffering [patient]. Come and try [trust] Him at once.
Confess, believe, and turn from your evil way, and you shall be saved.
Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father that You will not return to execute the fierceness of Your anger toward the illegitimate. Help me to worship You, in Spirit and in truth and to rest in You, in the name of the Lord Jesus I pray, Amen.

MORNING February 16
"I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content."— Philippians 4:11
─He aprendido á contentarme con lo que tengo. —Filipenses 4:11
THESE words show us that contentment is not a natural propensity of man. "Ill [bad] weeds grow apace.” [“loathsome weeds grow quickly”] Covetousness [envy], discontent [restlessness], and murmuring [whining, complaining and criticizing] are as natural to man as thorns are to the soil. We need not sow [plant] thistles and brambles [weeds];
they come up naturally enough
because they are indigenous to earth: and so, we need not teach men to complain; they complain fast enough without any education. But the precious things of the earth must be cultivated.
If we would have wheat, we must plow and sow [plant]; if we want flowers, there must be the garden with all the gardener's care.
Now, contentment is one of the flowers of heaven, and if we would have it, it must be cultivated; it will not grow in us by nature. It is the new [born again] nature alone that can produce it, and even then, we must be especially careful and watchful that we maintain and cultivate the grace which God has sown [planted] in us.
Paul says,
"I have learned ...to be content,"
as much as to say, he did not know how at one time. It cost him some pains to attain to the mystery of that great truth. No doubt he sometimes thought he had learned and then broke down [messed-up again]. And when at last, he had attained it, and could say,
"I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content," he was an old, gray-headed man, upon the borders of the grave—a poor prisoner shut [locked] up in Nero's dungeon at Rome.
We might well be willing to endure Paul's infirmities, and share the cold dungeon with him, if we too might by any means attain his good degree [of contentment].
Do not indulge the notion [dream] that you can be contented without learning, or learn without discipline. It is not a power that may be exercised naturally, but a science to be acquired gradually. We know this from experience.
Brother, hush that murmur, natural though it be, and continue [to be]
a diligent pupil in the College of Contentment.
[Work to earn a “CC” degree from this school]

EVENING February 16
"Thy good Spirit. " —Nehemiah 9:20
─Tu espíritu bueno —Nehemías 9:20
COMMON, too common, is the sin of forgetting the Holy Spirit. This is folly and ingratitude. He deserves good at our hands, for He is good, supremely good.
As God, He is good essentially [the essence of goodness]. He shares in the threefold ascription of Holy, holy, holy, which ascends [goes up] to the Triune [three-in-one] Jehovah. Unmixed purity, and truth, and grace is He.
He is good benevolently, tenderly bearing with our waywardness, striving with our rebellious wills, quickening us from our death in sin, and then training us for the skies [heavens] as a loving nurse fosters [cares for] her child. How generous, forgiving, and tender is this patient Spirit of God.
He is good operatively. All His works are good in the most eminent degree: He [The Holy Spirit] suggests good thoughts, prompts good actions, reveals good truths, applies good promises, assists in good attainments, and leads to good results.
There is no spiritual good in all the world of which He is not the author and sustainer, and heaven itself will owe the perfect character of its redeemed inhabitants to His work.
He is good officially; whether as Comforter, Instructor, Guide, Sanctifier, Quickener [life giver], or Intercessor, He fulfills His office [perfectly] well, and each work is filled with the highest good to the church of God.
They who yield to His influences become good, they who obey His impulses do good, they who live under His power receive good. Let us then act toward so good a person according to the dictates of gratitude.
Let us revere His person, and adore Him as God over all, blessed forever; let us admit His power, and our need of Him by waiting upon Him in all our holy enterprises; let us hourly seek His aid, and never grieve Him; and let us speak to His praise whenever occasion occurs.
The church will never prosper until it believes in the Holy Spirit more reverently. He is so good and kind, that
it is sad indeed that He should be grieved by a slight [being disrespected] or negligence [neglected].

A SINNER’S PRAYER
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus. Won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I’m lost and it’s hopeless for me to save myself. Without you and your death on the cross I would spend eternity in Hell.
I know that me doing my best or being good (in my own opinion) and justifying my own behavior as "good" or "OK" can never be enough to save me.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I come to You right now. Lord Jesus. Will You please save me. I believe You died on the cross in my place to pay for my sin debt and put to death my sin nature. I know You always keep your word. Please save me. You have said and it’s written in the Bible that you won’t reject anyone who comes to you. Thank You.
I give myself completely to You, Lord Jesus. I’m sorry for every sin I’ve done and I now turn away from each one and look to You to forgive me, save me and deliver me from future evil. Thank you for forgiving all of my sins by dying on the cross paying the punishment that I deserve. I’m a sinner by nature and by my actions. But now I'm washed clean by Your blood that was shed for me at the cross.
Thank you Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was bor n and that You love me now and will always love me and will never reject or turn your back on me. I know You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father other than by You.
Thank you, Father that You have made a way for me to see myself as ungodly. But, because You are good You have made a way and given me the desire to come to You, to turn away from my sin and to trust in the Lord Jesus. You have forgiven me because He took my place and You have provided for me to be born again [born from above, born of the Holy Spirit].
You prompted this desire and faith to believe in Your only begotten Son who, gave up His life and died on the cross to pay my sin debt, not mine alone, but the sins of the whole world.
Thank You, righteous Father of love that you allowed Jesus to suffer and die raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave and in Christ Jesus there is no condemnation. After You raised Him from the dead You gave Him a Glorified, [everlasting] physical body and after he was seen by many witnesses on earth You took Him up to reign with You in heaven.
Thank you for saving me. I pray this in the name, of Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ with a grateful heart. Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and for the Comforter, The Spirit of Truth, for my guidance and solemn instruction into all truth., Amen.”
Thank You Holy Spirit of Truth, Comforter, Paraclete [one who comes along side] for the new life in Jesus and victory that comes when I recon myself dead indeed unto sin and alive unto God through Christ Jesus our Lord trusting You, Holy Spirit for the execution of this vow.
Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you always bear witness with and exalt the Lord Jesus. John 16:8-11
With all my heart, thank you Lord for saving me.
Abide in me Lord Jesus, in Your name I pray, Amen.

Can You trust this website?
Is it of God?
Is it trustworthy?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesseth [confesses, says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come out of God, is of God: and every spirit [voice] that confesseth not [doesn't confess] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hence, I confess [declare and affirm] "Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh."
___________________________________________________________________
He has always existed from eternity past [FOREVER] as the WORD of God. John 1:1-2
And He was born of a virgin 2,024 years ago in Bethlehem, the WORD made flesh,
is alive today, and is coming soon for His *bride, the Church
[*All redeemed believers].
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Let me invite you to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess [declare] Him as such before men [publicly]. He will therefore be able to acknowledge and confess you before His Father in Heaven. He is The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Following your public confession, You also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee t o Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, what Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence by saying to him:
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And then, Jesus said to him:
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer being Born Again.
It bears witness to the truth John the Baptist preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand requiring Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but it needed is an act of obedience to fulfil all righteousness.
Romans 6:3-5:
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

Rather, it is a resource that may be useful to develop a more active personal discipleship and a more fervent personal devotion to the Lord Jesus.

Jesus Christ [Messiah- Anointed King] has always existed, from eternity past [FOREVER] as the WORD of God. John 1:1-2
He was born of a virgin 2,025 years ago in Bethlehem, the WORD made flesh,
is alive today, and is coming soon for His *bride, the Church
[*All redeemed believers].
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory."
You’re invited to receive the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah] as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess your trust in Him so He will then be able to acknowledge you before His Father, The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Jesus answered him and said, “Suffer it to be so [to let this happen]: for thus it becometh [is in accord with] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Following the Lord Jesus Christ in His purpose for us is our desire. We trust Him for our salvation, guidance, strength and our eternal destiny. We desire to and will, with His help, follow Him in soul winning by use of DailySpurgeon or any instrumentality He may bestow. Is this website dailyspurgeon.com trustworthy?
Is it true? Is it of God?
We should apply the following Scripture to everything we hear/read to discern whether what we are hearing or reading is of God and therefore whether or not it should be believed.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [word] you hear but be testing the spirits [words] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know if it is the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore beloved, we must test every voice [written or spoken] to discern whether it is from God or not. By applying these scripture verses we can determine with certainty if the scriptural standard that protects believers from believing false prophets has been met. We can thereby identify false witnesses and determine not to believe or follow them. The voice [spirit] being tested should not be believed unless it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
The Two New Testiment Greek Texts that were created by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland do not make this 1 John 4:1-4confession nor do they follow the Textus Receptus rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, which agree overwhelmingly [99%] with each other known as as the Majority Text. The 5,321 Majority Text Manuscripts are the source from which the trusted Textus Receptus was rendered.
Instead, these two purveyors of Greek texts used their own Greek translations that they created by hand picking only 45 of the 5,321extant Greek manuscripts. When these 45 Manuscripts were silent as to the text being translated, they simply inserted their own invented and unfounded Greek text.
This invented Greek translation presented variant readings different than the Textus Receptus [Received Text] in many places. One example from 1 John, Chapter 4 where all English translations other than the King James version overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in substantially all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] and therefore have failed to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (correctly Translated from the Textus Receptus [Received Text (TR)] in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from an overwhelming agreement found among the Majority Text of 5,321 primary Greek manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland ignore the verb “is”, from their invented Greek text and place “has come” instead.
This error may be legally described as res ipsa loquitur a latin phrase that means “the thing speaks for itself”.
Therefore, the Greek inventions generated by these two sources are not actually translations, even though they are introduced as translations, but actually represent their own Greek language inventions unsupported by the reliability of the Majority Texts and the Textus Receptus.
How do we know?
We know because both non-believers and false prophets assert that Jesus Christ
“has come” in the flesh.
Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by historians to be the most well documented fact in all of human history.
That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference in meaning between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” is woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”.
Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is generally held. It is not, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this falls short of presenting a logical rubric to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, by which spiritual understanding can be discerned. The failure is in establishing a logical and rhetorically sound rubric by which discernment can be rendered as to the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets or the spirit of antichrist.
Actually, when the term “has come” is used it is true. However, this wide-spread belief held to be historically correct by practically everyone, does not provide a sound rubric or standard with which to discern whether a voice [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any voice] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not provide any discernment as to whether something should or should not be believed as being from God and therefore as true and to be believed and followed.
Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But, this is an insufficient standard by which discernment can be rightly judged. The standard in God’s Word is whether the confession that Jesus is here, per se, is being made, yes or no. This confession gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be valid for true spiritual discernment.
For further understanding , we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.
Compare Scripture with Scripture: 1 John 4:1-3 with Ephesians 5:30-32
1 John 4:1-3 Authorized (King James) Version
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Ephesians 5:30-32
Authorized (King James) Version
30 for we are members of his [Jesus Christ’s] body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
[So, we are flesh and bone members of His body, We are] one flesh with Him, The Body of Christ is (In the flesh); and is the incarnate Body of believers.
He was born of a virgin 2025 years ago and He’s alive today.
He’s coming again soon, for His bride; the Church [Blood-bought, Born-again members of His body].
When a believer considers the fact that they are members of the body of Christ [The Church] , they will see and acknowledge that…
“Jesus Christ is here, from God, in the flesh,” because We are the Body of Christ; The Church, in the flesh!
Amen.

THE BEST BIBLE TRANSLATION:
Why The KING JAMES is Best by Steven Houck
Even though [some misinformed Bible readers believe] the King James Version has its weaknesses, it is an excellent translation and by far the best version [and the version most in demand today]. We must not be taken in by the modern versions and their claims. Our 400 years old Bible is to be preferred above all others because it is better than them all.
1) It was translated by men who are unsurpassed in their knowledge of Biblical studies.
2) The translators were pious men of God who believed in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.
3) It is the mature fruit of generations of English translations as well as the careful work of its translators.
4) The King James Version is based upon the Received Text rather than the critical Greek text of modern versions. [vis. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.]
5) It is a word-for-word translation which faithfully and accurately reflects the originals [of the Majority Texts, MT].
6) The language is one of reverence and respect which gives honor [and greater glory] to the majesty of its Author.
7) Of all the English versions of today, it alone is the Bible of the Reformation.
8) Our spiritual forefathers thought so highly of it that they were willing to suffer and even die for it.
9) It is the version which has been recognized for generations and generations as the Bible God has given to His English-speaking Church.
[A 10th reason why it is best is added here by DailySpurgeon.com]
10) The KJV is the work of 54 translators selected and organized into seven companies. (2), from Westminster (2), from Cambridge, (2), from Oxford and (1) from London. The work was done openly allowing each company to receive inquiries or comments during the course of the work. When an issue of disagreement arose, it was addressed in Prayer and discussion was continued until the difference was resolved unanimously and without objection.
BEST ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE:
GOD’S WORD (Immutable, God breathed, Self-Authenticating. Providentially Protected and Preserved and Forever Settled in Heaven, Psalm 119:89) The Authorized King James Bible
Commitment to the Word of God
Long before the Conservative Resurgence, Dr. R.G. Lee was the Southern Baptist champion of biblical infallibility and inerrancy. In his sermon, “The Word of God – Not Broken and Not Bound,” first published in 1930, Dr. Lee proclaimed, “All who wrote are immortalized by their writing of this great Book [The Holy Bible],
… “supernatural in origin, divine in authorship, human in penmanship, infallible in authority, infinite in scope, universal in interest, personal in application, regenerative in power, inspired [God breathed] in totality.”
Dr Robert G. Lee preached a sermon Payday Someday over 1,000 times and was the Senior Pastor of one of the first Megachurches, Bellevue Baptist Church, Memphis, Tennessee,

A SINNER’S PRAYER
________________________________________

Rising in his bed, he said,
“Wife, will you pray for me?” “I never prayed in my life,” said she, “I cannot pray for you.” “I am lost,” he said, “if somebody does not pray for me;
I cannot pray for myself.” “I don’t know anyone on the estate that knows how to pray, except Cuffey,” said his wife.

Because God is God, and not man, there is still forgiveness for you, even though you may be steeped [immersed] up to your throat in iniquity [sin]. You have a God to deal with, and not a hard man, nor even a merely just man. No human being could have patience with you: you would have wearied [worn out] an angel, as you have wearied [worn out] your sorrowing [earthly] father;
but God is longsuffering [patient].

THESE words show us that contentment is not a natural propensity of man. "Ill [bad] weeds grow apace.” [“loathsome weeds grow quickly”] Covetousness [envy], discontent [restlessness], and murmuring [whining, complaining and criticizing] are as natural to man as thorns are to the soil. We need not sow [plant] thistles and brambles [weeds];
they come up naturally enough
because they are indigenous to earth: and so, we need not teach men to complain; they complain fast enough without any education.

SACRED LITERATURE:
ORIGINAL: The Pilgrim’s Progress Pub. by Logos,1853 from 1678 Original by John Bunyan
REVISED TEXT by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic]...
in Pilgrim’s Progress. (Tthe World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.

"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.
