PRAYER 9, Part 2 of 3
GLORIOUS LIBERTY.
[Father] Our first prayer is for others who as yet are in bondage. We thank Thee, Lord, that Thou hast given them the spirit of bondage and made them to fear. We are glad that they should be brought to feel the evil of sin, to feel the perfection of Thy law, to know something of the fiery nature of Thy justice, and so to be shut up unto salvation by grace through faith. But, Lord, let them not tarry [procrastinate] long under the pedagogue [teaching of doctrine], but may the schoolmaster with his rod bring them to Christ.
Lord, cure any of Thy chosen of self-righteousness; deliver them from any hope in their own abilities, but keep them low. Bring them out of any hope of salvation by their own prayers or their own repentance. Bring them to cast themselves upon Thy grace to be saved by trusting in Christ. Emancipate [free] them from all observance of days, weeks, months, years, and things of human institution, and bring them into the glorious liberty of the children of God that Thy law may become their delight, Thyself [may] become their strength, their all, Thy Son become their joy and their crown.
We do pray this with all our hearts. Lord, deliver any of Thy children from quarrelling [arguing] with Thee [You]. Help us to be always at one with [You] our God.

ANECDOTE 200: Saved by a Stray Sermon.
Many a sailor boy has been wild, reckless, Godless, and Christ-less, and at last has got into a foreign hospital. Ah, if his mother knew that he was down with the yellow fever, how sad her mind would be, for she would conclude that her dear son will die away at [in] Havana, or somewhere, and never come home again.
But it is just in that hospital that God means to meet with him. A sailor writes to me something like that. He says,
“ My mother asked me to read a chapter every day, but I never did. I got into the hospital at Havana, and, when I lay there, there was a man near to me who was dying, and he died one night; but before he died he said to me, Mate, could you come here? I want to speak to you. I have got something that is very precious to me here.
I was a wild fellow, but reading this packet of sermons has brought me to the Savior, and I am dying with a good hope through grace. Now, when I am dead and gone, will you take these sermons and read them, and may God bless them to you. And will you write a letter to the man [Spurgeon] that preached and printed those sermons, to tell him that God blessed them to my conversion and that I hope he will bless them to yourself .”
It was a packet of my sermons and God did bless them to that young man who, I have no doubt whatever, went to that hospital because there a man who had been brought to Christ would hand to him the words which God had blessed to himself and would bless to his friend. You do not know, dear mother, you do not know.
The worst thing that can happen to a young man in this world is sometimes the best thing that can happen to him.

God had done great things for King Asa and Judah, but yet they were a feeble folk [weak]. Their feet were very tottering in the ways of the Lord, and their hearts very hesitating, so that they had to be warned that the Lord would be with them while they were with Him, but that if they forsook Him He would leave them. They were also reminded of the sister kingdom, how ill it fared in its rebellion, and how the Lord was gracious to it when repentance was shown.
The Lord s design was to confirm them in His way, and make them strong in righteousness. So ought [should] it to be with us. God deserves to be served with all the energy of which we are capable. If the service of God is worth anything, it is worth everything. We shall find our best reward in the Lord’s work if we do it with determined diligence. Our labor is not in vain in the Lord, and we know it. Half-hearted work will bring no reward; but, when we throw our whole soul into the cause, we shall see prosperity.
This text was sent to the author of these notes [Spurgeon] in a day of terrible storm, and it suggested to him to put on all steam [go full steam ahead], with the assurance of reaching port in safety with a glorious freight [cargo].
Prayer: Thank you Lord for this guidance: -Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded — Help me to be strong with willing hands to do the work you have given us for it shall be rewarded in Jesus name, Amen.

MORNING February 17
“Isaac dwelt by the well Lahai-roi.”[Well of the living God, who sees me] — Genesis 25:11

HAGAR [Abram’s surrogate wife, Sarai’s handmaid] had once found deliverance there [by the well] and Ishmael [her son] had drunk from the water so graciously revealed by the God who lives and sees the sons of men; but that was a merely casual visit, such as many pay to the Lord in times of need when it serves their turn [agenda]. They cry to Him in trouble, but forsake Him in prosperity.
Isaac [Abraham and Sarah’s son] dwelt [lived] there, and made the well of the living and all-seeing God his constant source of supply. The usual tenor [routine] of a man's life, the dwelling of his soul [what his heart desires], is the true test of his [spiritual] state. Perhaps the providential visitation [to the well] experienced by Hagar struck Isaac's mind, and led him to revere the place; its mystical name endeared it to him; his frequent musings [meditations] by its brim [water’s edge] at eventide made him familiar with the well; his meeting Rebecca there had made his spirit feel at home near the spot; but
best of all, the fact that he there enjoyed fellowship with the living God, had made him select that hallowed [holy] ground for his dwelling [home].
Let us learn to live in the presence of the living God. Let us pray the Holy Spirit that this day, and every day, we may feel, "God sees me."
May the Lord Jehovah be as a well to us, delightful, comforting, unfailing, springing up unto eternal life. The bottle of the creature [wine skins made by man] cracks and dries up, but the well of the Creator never fails; happy is he who dwells at the well, and so has abundant and constant supplies near at hand. The Lord has been a sure helper to others: His name is [El] Shaddai, God all-sufficient. Our hearts have often had most delightful intercourse [interaction] with Him; through Him our soul has found her glorious Husband, the Lord Jesus, and in Him this day we live, and move, and have our being.
Let us, then, dwell [abide] in closest fellowship with Him. Glorious Lord, constrain us [hold us tight, so close to yourself] that we may never leave You, but
dwell by the well of the living God.

EDOM'S princes saw the whole country left desolate, and counted on its easy conquest. But there was one great difficulty in their way, quite unknown to them,
"The Lord was there"
and in His presence lay the special security of the chosen land. Whatever may be the machinations [evil conspiracies] and devices of the enemies of God's people, there is still the same effectual barrier to thwart [defeat] their design.
The saints are God's heritage, and He is in the midst of them and will protect His own. What comfort this assurance yields us in our troubles and spiritual conflicts! We are constantly opposed, yet perpetually [always] preserved! How often Satan shoots his arrows against our faith, but our faith defies the power of hell's fiery darts. They are not only turned aside, but they are quenched [extinguished] upon its shield, for
"the Lord is there."
Our good works are the subjects of Satan's attacks. A saint never yet had a virtue or a grace that was not the target for hellish bullets: whether it was hope, bright and sparkling or love, warm and fervent or patience, all-enduring or zeal flaming like coals of fire, the old enemy of everything that is good has tried to destroy it.
The only reason why anything virtuous or lovely survives in us is this:
"the Lord is there."
If the Lord be with us through life, we need not fear for dying confidence; for when we come to die, we will find that
"the Lord is there."
Where the billows are most tempestuous and the water is most chill [the coldest], we will feel the bottom and know that it is good: our feet will stand on the Rock of Ages when time is passing away.
Beloved, from the first of a Christian's life to the last, the only reason he does not perish is because
"the Lord is there."
When the God of everlasting love changes and leaves His elect to perish, then the Church of God may be de¬stroyed; but not until then, because it is written, Jehovah Shammah, [meaning]
"the Lord is there."

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER:
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am lost. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross to pay my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity in Hell. My nature and behavior has been sinful from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m sorry for each and every sin I have ever done and look to You to forgive them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, as God’s sacrifice for my sin.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You to be my Savior and Lord.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I want to follow You from now on.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me still
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is alive and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave.
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and Holy Spirit for Your comfort and guidance in all things.
With all my heart, thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. In your name, I pray, Amen.

Can You trust this website?
Is it of God?
Is it trustworthy?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesseth [confesses, says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come out of God, is of God: and every spirit [voice] that confesseth not [doesn't confess] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hence, I confess [declare and affirm] "Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh."

And He was born of a virgin 2,024 years ago in Bethlehem, the WORD made flesh,
is alive today, and is coming soon for His *bride, the Church

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Let me invite you to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess [declare] Him as such before men [publicly]. He will therefore be able to acknowledge and confess you before His Father in Heaven. He is The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Following your public confession, You also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee t o Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, what Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence by saying to him:
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And then, Jesus said to him:
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer being Born Again.
It bears witness to the truth John the Baptist preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand requiring Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but it needed is an act of obedience to fulfil all righteousness.
Romans 6:3-5:
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

Is it true? Is it of God?
We should apply the following Scripture to everything we hear/read to discern whether what we are hearing or reading is of God and therefore whether or not it should be believed.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [word] you hear but be testing the spirits [words] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know if it is the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore beloved, we must test every voice [written or spoken] to discern whether it is from God or not. By applying these scripture verses we can determine with certainty if the scriptural standard that protects believers from believing false prophets has been met. We can thereby identify false witnesses and determine not to believe or follow them. The voice [spirit] being tested should not be believed unless it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
The Two New Testiment Greek Texts that were created by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland do not make this 1 John 4:1-4confession nor do they follow the Textus Receptus rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, which agree overwhelmingly [99%] with each other known as as the Majority Text. The 5,321 Majority Text Manuscripts are the source from which the trusted Textus Receptus was rendered.
Instead, these two purveyors of Greek texts used their own Greek translations that they created by hand picking only 45 of the 5,321extant Greek manuscripts. When these 45 Manuscripts were silent as to the text being translated, they simply inserted their own invented and unfounded Greek text.
This invented Greek translation presented variant readings different than the Textus Receptus [Received Text] in many places. One example from 1 John, Chapter 4 where all English translations other than the King James version overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in substantially all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] and therefore have failed to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (correctly Translated from the Textus Receptus [Received Text (TR)] in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from an overwhelming agreement found among the Majority Text of 5,321 primary Greek manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland ignore the verb “is”, from their invented Greek text and place “has come” instead.
This error may be legally described as res ipsa loquitur a latin phrase that means “the thing speaks for itself”.
Therefore, the Greek inventions generated by these two sources are not actually translations, even though they are introduced as translations, but actually represent their own Greek language inventions unsupported by the reliability of the Majority Texts and the Textus Receptus.
How do we know?
We know because both non-believers and false prophets assert that Jesus Christ
“has come” in the flesh.
Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by historians to be the most well documented fact in all of human history.
That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference in meaning between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” is woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”.
Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is generally held. It is not, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this falls short of presenting a logical rubric to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, by which spiritual understanding can be discerned. The failure is in establishing a logical and rhetorically sound rubric by which discernment can be rendered as to the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets or the spirit of antichrist.
Actually, when the term “has come” is used it is true. However, this wide-spread belief held to be historically correct by practically everyone, does not provide a sound rubric or standard with which to discern whether a voice [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any voice] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not provide any discernment as to whether something should or should not be believed as being from God and therefore as true and to be believed and followed.
Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But, this is an insufficient standard by which discernment can be rightly judged. The standard in God’s Word is whether the confession that Jesus is here, per se, is being made, yes or no. This confession gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be valid for true spiritual discernment.
For further understanding , we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

THE BEST BIBLE TRANSLATION:
Why The KING JAMES is Best by Steven Houck
Even though [some misinformed Bible readers believe] the King James Version has its weaknesses, it is an excellent translation and by far the best version [and the version most in demand today]. We must not be taken in by the modern versions and their claims. Our 400 years old Bible is to be preferred above all others because it is better than them all.
1) It was translated by men who are unsurpassed in their knowledge of Biblical studies.
2) The translators were pious men of God who believed in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.
3) It is the mature fruit of generations of English translations as well as the careful work of its translators.
4) The King James Version is based upon the Received Text rather than the critical Greek text of modern versions. [vis. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.]
5) It is a word-for-word translation which faithfully and accurately reflects the originals [of the Majority Texts, MT].
6) The language is one of reverence and respect which gives honor [and greater glory] to the majesty of its Author.
7) Of all the English versions of today, it alone is the Bible of the Reformation.
8) Our spiritual forefathers thought so highly of it that they were willing to suffer and even die for it.
9) It is the version which has been recognized for generations and generations as the Bible God has given to His English-speaking Church.

10) The KJV is the work of 54 translators selected and organized into seven companies. (2), from Westminster (2), from Cambridge, (2), from Oxford and (1) from London. The work was done openly allowing each company to receive inquiries or comments during the course of the work. When an issue of disagreement arose, it was addressed in Prayer and discussion was continued until the difference was resolved unanimously and without objection.

PRAYER 9, Part 2 of 3
GLORIOUS LIBERTY.
[Father] Our first prayer is for others who as yet are in bondage. We thank Thee, Lord, that Thou hast given them the spirit of bondage and made them to fear. We are glad that they should be brought to feel the evil of sin, to feel the perfection of Thy law, to know something of the fiery nature of Thy justice, and so to be shut up unto salvation by grace through faith. But, Lord, let them not tarry [procrastinate] long under the pedagogue [teaching of doctrine], but may the schoolmaster with his rod bring them to Christ.
Lord, cure any of Thy chosen of self-righteousness; deliver them from any hope in their own abilities, but keep them low. Bring them out of any hope of salvation by their own prayers or their own repentance. Bring them to cast themselves upon Thy grace to be saved by trusting in Christ. Emancipate [free] them from all observance of days, weeks, months, years, and things of human institution, and bring them into the glorious liberty of the children of God that Thy law may become their delight, Thyself [may] become their strength, their all, Thy Son become their joy and their crown.
We do pray this with all our hearts. Lord, deliver any of Thy children from quarrelling [arguing] with Thee [You]. Help us to be always at one with [You] our God.

ANECDOTE 200: Saved by a Stray Sermon.
Many a sailor boy has been wild, reckless, Godless, and Christ-less, and at last has got into a foreign hospital. Ah, if his mother knew that he was down with the yellow fever, how sad her mind would be, for she would conclude that her dear son will die away at [in] Havana, or somewhere, and never come home again.
But it is just in that hospital that God means to meet with him. A sailor writes to me something like that. He says,
“ My mother asked me to read a chapter every day, but I never did. I got into the hospital at Havana, and, when I lay there, there was a man near to me who was dying, and he died one night; but before he died he said to me, Mate, could you come here? I want to speak to you. I have got something that is very precious to me here.
I was a wild fellow, but reading this packet of sermons has brought me to the Savior, and I am dying with a good hope through grace. Now, when I am dead and gone, will you take these sermons and read them, and may God bless them to you. And will you write a letter to the man [Spurgeon] that preached and printed those sermons, to tell him that God blessed them to my conversion and that I hope he will bless them to yourself .”
It was a packet of my sermons and God did bless them to that young man who, I have no doubt whatever, went to that hospital because there a man who had been brought to Christ would hand to him the words which God had blessed to himself and would bless to his friend. You do not know, dear mother, you do not know.
The worst thing that can happen to a young man in this world is sometimes the best thing that can happen to him.

God had done great things for King Asa and Judah, but yet they were a feeble folk [weak]. Their feet were very tottering in the ways of the Lord, and their hearts very hesitating, so that they had to be warned that the Lord would be with them while they were with Him, but that if they forsook Him He would leave them. They were also reminded of the sister kingdom, how ill it fared in its rebellion, and how the Lord was gracious to it when repentance was shown.
The Lord s design was to confirm them in His way, and make them strong in righteousness. So ought [should] it to be with us. God deserves to be served with all the energy of which we are capable. If the service of God is worth anything, it is worth everything. We shall find our best reward in the Lord’s work if we do it with determined diligence. Our labor is not in vain in the Lord, and we know it. Half-hearted work will bring no reward; but, when we throw our whole soul into the cause, we shall see prosperity.
This text was sent to the author of these notes [Spurgeon] in a day of terrible storm, and it suggested to him to put on all steam [go full steam ahead], with the assurance of reaching port in safety with a glorious freight [cargo].
Prayer: Thank you Lord for this guidance: -Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded — Help me to be strong with willing hands to do the work you have given us for it shall be rewarded in Jesus name, Amen.

“Isaac dwelt by the well Lahai-roi.”[Well of the living God, who sees me] — Genesis 25:11

HAGAR [Abram’s surrogate wife, Sarai’s handmaid] had once found deliverance there [by the well] and Ishmael [her son] had drunk from the water so graciously revealed by the God who lives and sees the sons of men; but that was a merely casual visit, such as many pay to the Lord in times of need when it serves their turn [agenda]. They cry to Him in trouble, but forsake Him in prosperity.
Isaac [Abraham and Sarah’s son] dwelt [lived] there, and made the well of the living and all-seeing God his constant source of supply. The usual tenor [routine] of a man's life, the dwelling of his soul [what his heart desires], is the true test of his [spiritual] state. Perhaps the providential visitation [to the well] experienced by Hagar struck Isaac's mind, and led him to revere the place; its mystical name endeared it to him; his frequent musings [meditations] by its brim [water’s edge] at eventide made him familiar with the well; his meeting Rebecca there had made his spirit feel at home near the spot; but
best of all, the fact that he there enjoyed fellowship with the living God, had made him select that hallowed [holy] ground for his dwelling [home].
Let us learn to live in the presence of the living God. Let us pray the Holy Spirit that this day, and every day, we may feel, "God sees me."
May the Lord Jehovah be as a well to us, delightful, comforting, unfailing, springing up unto eternal life. The bottle of the creature [wine skins made by man] cracks and dries up, but the well of the Creator never fails; happy is he who dwells at the well, and so has abundant and constant supplies near at hand. The Lord has been a sure helper to others: His name is [El] Shaddai, God all-sufficient. Our hearts have often had most delightful intercourse [interaction] with Him; through Him our soul has found her glorious Husband, the Lord Jesus, and in Him this day we live, and move, and have our being.
Let us, then, dwell [abide] in closest fellowship with Him. Glorious Lord, constrain us [hold us tight, so close to yourself] that we may never leave You, but
dwell by the well of the living God.

EDOM'S princes saw the whole country left desolate, and counted on its easy conquest. But there was one great difficulty in their way, quite unknown to them,
"The Lord was there"
and in His presence lay the special security of the chosen land. Whatever may be the machinations [evil conspiracies] and devices of the enemies of God's people, there is still the same effectual barrier to thwart [defeat] their design.
The saints are God's heritage, and He is in the midst of them and will protect His own. What comfort this assurance yields us in our troubles and spiritual conflicts! We are constantly opposed, yet perpetually [always] preserved! How often Satan shoots his arrows against our faith, but our faith defies the power of hell's fiery darts. They are not only turned aside, but they are quenched [extinguished] upon its shield, for
"the Lord is there."
Our good works are the subjects of Satan's attacks. A saint never yet had a virtue or a grace that was not the target for hellish bullets: whether it was hope, bright and sparkling or love, warm and fervent or patience, all-enduring or zeal flaming like coals of fire, the old enemy of everything that is good has tried to destroy it.
The only reason why anything virtuous or lovely survives in us is this:
"the Lord is there."
If the Lord be with us through life, we need not fear for dying confidence; for when we come to die, we will find that
"the Lord is there."
Where the billows are most tempestuous and the water is most chill [the coldest], we will feel the bottom and know that it is good: our feet will stand on the Rock of Ages when time is passing away.
Beloved, from the first of a Christian's life to the last, the only reason he does not perish is because
"the Lord is there."
When the God of everlasting love changes and leaves His elect to perish, then the Church of God may be de¬stroyed; but not until then, because it is written, Jehovah Shammah, [meaning]
"the Lord is there."

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER:
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am lost. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross to pay my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity in Hell. My nature and behavior has been sinful from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m sorry for each and every sin I have ever done and look to You to forgive them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, as God’s sacrifice for my sin.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You to be my Savior and Lord.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I want to follow You from now on.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me still
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is alive and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave.
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and Holy Spirit for Your comfort and guidance in all things.

Can You trust this website?
Is it of God?
Is it trustworthy?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesseth [confesses, says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come out of God, is of God: and every spirit [voice] that confesseth not [doesn't confess] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hence, I confess [declare and affirm] "Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh."

God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Let me invite you to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess [declare] Him as such before men [publicly]. He will therefore be able to acknowledge and confess you before His Father in Heaven. He is The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Following your public confession, You also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee t o Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, what Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence by saying to him:
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And then, Jesus said to him:
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer being Born Again.
It bears witness to the truth John the Baptist preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand requiring Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but it needed is an act of obedience to fulfil all righteousness.
Romans 6:3-5:
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

Is this website dailyspurgeon.com trustworthy?
Is it true? Is it of God?
We should apply the following Scripture to everything we hear/read to discern whether what we are hearing or reading is of God and therefore whether or not it should be believed.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [word] you hear but be testing the spirits [words] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know if it is the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore beloved, we must test every voice [written or spoken] to discern whether it is from God or not. By applying these scripture verses we can determine with certainty if the scriptural standard that protects believers from believing false prophets has been met. We can thereby identify false witnesses and determine not to believe or follow them. The voice [spirit] being tested should not be believed unless it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
The Two New Testiment Greek Texts that were created by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland do not make this 1 John 4:1-4confession nor do they follow the Textus Receptus rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, which agree overwhelmingly [99%] with each other known as as the Majority Text. The 5,321 Majority Text Manuscripts are the source from which the trusted Textus Receptus was rendered.
Instead, these two purveyors of Greek texts used their own Greek translations that they created by hand picking only 45 of the 5,321extant Greek manuscripts. When these 45 Manuscripts were silent as to the text being translated, they simply inserted their own invented and unfounded Greek text.
This invented Greek translation presented variant readings different than the Textus Receptus [Received Text] in many places. One example from 1 John, Chapter 4 where all English translations other than the King James version overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in substantially all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] and therefore have failed to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (correctly Translated from the Textus Receptus [Received Text (TR)] in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from an overwhelming agreement found among the Majority Text of 5,321 primary Greek manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland ignore the verb “is”, from their invented Greek text and place “has come” instead.
This error may be legally described as res ipsa loquitur a latin phrase that means “the thing speaks for itself”.
Therefore, the Greek inventions generated by these two sources are not actually translations, even though they are introduced as translations, but actually represent their own Greek language inventions unsupported by the reliability of the Majority Texts and the Textus Receptus.
How do we know?
We know because both non-believers and false prophets assert that Jesus Christ
“has come” in the flesh.
Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by historians to be the most well documented fact in all of human history.
That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference in meaning between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” is woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”.
Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is generally held. It is not, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this falls short of presenting a logical rubric to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, by which spiritual understanding can be discerned. The failure is in establishing a logical and rhetorically sound rubric by which discernment can be rendered as to the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets or the spirit of antichrist.
Actually, when the term “has come” is used it is true. However, this wide-spread belief held to be historically correct by practically everyone, does not provide a sound rubric or standard with which to discern whether a voice [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any voice] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not provide any discernment as to whether something should or should not be believed as being from God and therefore as true and to be believed and followed.
Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But, this is an insufficient standard by which discernment can be rightly judged. The standard in God’s Word is whether the confession that Jesus is here, per se, is being made, yes or no. This confession gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be valid for true spiritual discernment.
For further understanding , we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

Authorized (King James) Version
30 for we are members of his [Jesus Christ’s] body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
[So, we are flesh and bone members of His body, We are] one flesh with Him, The Body of Christ is (In the flesh); and is the incarnate Body of believers.

When a believer considers the fact that they are members of the body of Christ [The Church] , they will see and acknowledge that…

THE BEST BIBLE TRANSLATION:
Why The KING JAMES is Best by Steven Houck
Even though [some misinformed Bible readers believe] the King James Version has its weaknesses, it is an excellent translation and by far the best version [and the version most in demand today]. We must not be taken in by the modern versions and their claims. Our 400 years old Bible is to be preferred above all others because it is better than them all.
1) It was translated by men who are unsurpassed in their knowledge of Biblical studies.
2) The translators were pious men of God who believed in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.
3) It is the mature fruit of generations of English translations as well as the careful work of its translators.
4) The King James Version is based upon the Received Text rather than the critical Greek text of modern versions. [vis. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.]
5) It is a word-for-word translation which faithfully and accurately reflects the originals [of the Majority Texts, MT].
6) The language is one of reverence and respect which gives honor [and greater glory] to the majesty of its Author.
7) Of all the English versions of today, it alone is the Bible of the Reformation.
8) Our spiritual forefathers thought so highly of it that they were willing to suffer and even die for it.
9) It is the version which has been recognized for generations and generations as the Bible God has given to His English-speaking Church.

10) The KJV is the work of 54 translators selected and organized into seven companies. (2), from Westminster (2), from Cambridge, (2), from Oxford and (1) from London. The work was done openly allowing each company to receive inquiries or comments during the course of the work. When an issue of disagreement arose, it was addressed in Prayer and discussion was continued until the difference was resolved unanimously and without objection.
